Elevating Knowledge through a Mentoring Attitude
Project managers benefit from the experience of mentors in project management mentorship, whether it is focused around managing the delivery of complex projects or understanding best practices.
The key focus of this program is to develop improved skills in reviewing project definition and plan documents, recommend improvements and provide critical skill building feedback to PM aspirants. The program consists of a conceptual overview and a hands-on review of live/sample project definition and plan documents. During the workshop participants would work in groups to conduct plan reviews and recommend changes/improvement areas, under the guidance and support of an experienced Lead Facilitator.
As a Mentor, mentoring and coaching novice project managers, is an effective way of maximizing the value of project management training, reinforcing learning, facilitating the definition of project objectives, deliverables, schedule, quality standards, etc., and providing consistent and succinct feedback to mentees.
